Scholar Books, one of the largest publishing houses of West Bengal was established in the year 1976. The main aim of the house was to fulfil the authentic academic requirements of the new generation. In its early inception, the publishing house had to face a lot of hardships. The company has taken a venture to publish books for the children in collaboration with some foreign publishers. Scholar Books, a sister concern of Scholar Books emerged in the year 1998.
